Getting our Home Ready to Sell

My mom wanted pictures of the back yard and how we changed the fence just before we sold it. My before picture is the day we put our lawn in in 2007.

Katelynn Dr. Seuss Dance

I just found this post that I never published. Here it is. It is a bit late but cute nonetheless.

Tonight was a church dance and the theme was Dr. Seuss. So she decided to dress up. Ben helped her make the hat and she was ready to go. I will pick her up in an hour. I am excited to hear how her night went....

She had a blast!!!!

Lisa's Birthday Cake

Here is the cake that Ben surprised me with. He did an awesome job...choosing, not decorating.

It has been too long!

I don't know where to begin. Our year is a quarter over and I am not sure what we have been up to. Our biggest news is that we sold our house after having it on the market for 2 days. We didn't even get the For Sale sign up in our yard. So we were in a crunch to find a home and within 4 days we found a great home for our family. We are excited about this move but it will require us to change wards(church congregations) and that has us very sad but we are realizing that our church is true no matter where you go. We are staying in Cheney, just on the other side of town. Pictures to follow...maybe next year at the rate that I update this post. Just hope!!

Our family at Matt's Ordination.

Matt and the men(Grandpas, friends and Dad)
Three of the kids had birthdays so far this year. Allie is now 9 years old.

Matt is 12 years old and recieved the priesthood and loves being 12.

Katelynn turned 15 today and I let her skip school and spend the day with Daniel, Ben and I.
Can't have a post with out a picture of our Daniel in February waiting for the swimming pool to be filled.(in about 4 months)

Washington's Winter Wonderland

Here are a few pictures taken yesterday. It couldn't have happened at a more perfect time. The kids are now out for Christmas break and they get to enjoy the snow. The one thing that our camera cannot capture is the glistening of the snow. It looks like there are diamonds all over the snow. It is so beautiful.

1st Annual Thanksgiving Trot

This morning Allie, Katelynn and I participated in our High School Cross County Thanksgiving Run/Walk. You could walk or run 2 or 3 miles. Unfortunately, when we woke up the ground was white with snow and very cold, but that did not stop us. Katelynn found a friend from school to walk with so Allie and I walked together. We decided to do 2 miles and when we got back to the school we waited and waited for Katelynn to show up and come to find out they decided to walk the 3 miles. We had a fun time and now have shirts to prove it. We just might make this a tradition for Thanksgiving morning and get the whole family to join us.

Daniel the Cook

Daniel wanted to make his eggs by himself. He did pretty good.
